My Mexico Motel transforms the familiar architecture of a roadside hotel into a stage for surreal encounter. Bathed in the vivid hues of Mexican design — terracotta, turquoise, fuchsia, and sun-drenched yellows — the spaces themselves become actors, their color and texture as expressive as the objects they contain. Within this vibrant environment, a singular protagonist navigates the interiors and exteriors with an enigmatic presence. Her interactions with furniture, décor, and peculiar artifacts are at once playful and uncanny, turning ordinary gestures into moments of subtle disorientation. The objects — crafted, collected, or imagined — gain agency, engaging in a choreography that blurs the boundary between the animate and inanimate. The campaign evokes a sensorial and spatial exploration: each frame is a tableau where surrealism and design converge. The motel’s corridors, patios, and rooms are not merely backdrops but active participants, shaping perception and inviting the viewer to inhabit a world where color, object, and figure are interdependent. My Mexico Motel celebrates the poetic tension between domesticity and imagination, order and strangeness. It is an homage to the uncanny potential of everyday spaces, to the boldness of Mexican color, and to the intimate yet enigmatic presence of the surreal protagonist.
