Una Facoltà fisiologica. Empatica e Trascendente allo stesso tempo.
Il termine παράνοια, deriva dal greco e significa “follia”. La Follia, che nel suo elogio umanista di Erasmo da Rotterdam si proclama di origine “divina” figlia di Pluto, dio della ricchezza e della giovinezza, e dice di essere stata allevata dall'Ignoranza e dall'Ubriachezza.
Oggi possiamo affermare con certezza che la facoltà paranoica è quel diritto imprescindibile di immaginare cio’ che non esiste, sentire cio’ che viene sussurrato nel vento, godere sulla lingua di sapori mai assaggiati prima, toccare e plasmare la materia seguendo un’ispirazione che prende tutta quanta la nostra mente facendoci “sperimentare” e “liberare” le nostre fantasie.
La Facoltà paranoica non è altro che l’utilizzo delle nostre percezioni attraverso le quali ci dipaniamo dal caos e dalla folla.Ecco la strada per rravvivare la nostra vera natura, che emerge come un raggio tra le nuvole, come una fonte d’acqua nel deserto. Siamo noi tra gli uno , nessuno e centomila, tra le immagini e le parole sterili perché svuotate del proprio significato. Una società di commedianti che navigano senza meta indossando maschere fatte apposta per celare le proprie debolezze e velleità in una continuità sonora e visiva che distrae e incanta come in un carillon. Dietro le quinte si nascondono corpi nudi e sgraziati, bellezze eteree, scintille divine e calde capaci di sciogliere la neve come fa il sole, follie deliranti, o al contrario sogni troppo “beige” per il cabaret multi color.
Un reale gravido di idee e fantasie, un abbaglio che puo’ diventare ossessione, come per chi segue la strada dell’arte, che porta ad esaltare mondi dimenticati e tempi ormai sconosciuti.
Il monito al visitatore sta nel tornare ad osservare in prospettiva alimentando una visione multilaterale in una comunione tra ragione e immaginazione somma di ragion d’essere che si attiva per mezzo di rituali quotidiani che ci ricordano chi siamo out of everything.

The term παράνοια comes from the Greek and means "madness". Madness, who in her humanist praise of Erasmus of Rotterdam proclaims herself to be of "divine" origin, daughter of Pluto, god of wealth and youth, and says she was raised by Ignorance and Drunkenness. Today we can say with certainty that the paranoid faculty is that essential right to imagine what does not exist, to hear what is whispered in the wind, to enjoy flavors never tasted before, to touch and shape the material following an inspiration that takes our whole mind making us "experience" and "free" our fantasies. The paranoid faculty is nothing more than the use of our perceptions through which we unravel from the chaos and the crowd.Here is the way to revive our true nature, which emerges as a ray in the clouds, as a source of water in the desert. We are among the one, none and a hundred thousand, between images and words that are sterile because they are emptied of their own meaning. A society of comedians who sail aimlessly wearing masks made on purpose to conceal their weaknesses and ambitions in a sound and visual continuity that distracts and enchants as in a music box. Behind the scenes there are naked and ungainly bodies, ethereal beauties, divine and warm sparks capable of melting the snow as the sun does, delirious follies, or on the contrary dreams too “beige” for the multi-colored cabaret. A reality full of ideas and fantasies, a mistake that can become an obsession, as for those who follow the path of art, which leads to the exaltation of forgotten worlds and times now unknown. The warning to the visitor is to go back to observing in perspective, feeding a multilateral vision in a communion between reason and imagination, the sum of the reason for being that is activated by means of daily rituals that remind us who we are out of everything.
